The imposing Grandstand
of Dubai Autodrome leans stiffly backwards like a driver bracing for
a sudden collision. It is a dynamic architectural technique designed
to heighten visual impact, adding further to the drama of world class
motor racing.
Dubai Autodrome
is now the Middle East’s motor racing hub and the Grandstand is
its undoubted centrepiece. Accommodating nearly 7,000 spectators, it
occupies the highest point on the site, towering over the track and
affording spectacular views of all the action.
Apart from its unique
sightlines, the Grandstand incorporates other innovative design features.
It also houses corporate entertainment suites and hospitality boxes
for sponsors, guests and VIPs.
