The first school
in the UAE was established in Sharjah in the 1950’s and the Emirate
has been an educational pioneer ever since.

Today’s facilities
provide a dramatic contrast to that first rudimentary school building
half a century ago.
Twenty-first century
Sharjah combines first class teaching with the most modern facilities.
From primary school through to University, the city provides international-standard
curricula to meet every academic aspiration.
One
of the most striking educational buildings in the region belongs to
the Sharjah Institute of Technology.
With a stunning
hi-tech design which perfectly mirrors its function, the institute draws
students from all over Sharjah and beyond.
