The world’s
largest indoor stadium in Doha, Qatar will host the Asian Games in 2006.
It’s pedigree is remarkable, created by the architect who designed
the ‘Parc des Princes’ in Paris and the Olympic Stadium
in Montreal but surpassing both.

This futuristic
sporting mammoth is the pride of Qatar, boasting a 250m free span and
housing athletic facilities among the best on earth. The space-age Khalifa
Stadium dome is set in a sprawling sporting campus covering nearly 300,000m2.
It is the centrepiece of a Qatari government initiative called ASPIRE
which aims to nurture fledgling athletic talent and create the stars
of the future.
